Native Sons Ltd. was established in 1996 by Frank Chapman. Frank had previously owned and operated Chapman Electric but incorporated as Native Sons Ltd. to perform work for the Mohegan Nation, with the major project being the Mohegan Sun Casino.

The company specializes in large scale commercial, industrial, and government projects as well as facilities maintenance. While able to provide many building related services, the company primarily focuses on electrical, low voltage and life safety systems.

NSL has historically has placed great emphasis on Native American projects and has performed work for the Mohegan Tribe at Mohegan Sun the Seneca Tribe in Western New York and at the National Museum of the American Indian in both Suitland and Washington, DC.

Management has a strong commitment to providing work opportunities to Native Americans and works closely with Tribal Employment Rights Organization.

The management of Native Sons is just as strongly committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees and administers a company-wide safety program that educates and trains all workers in safe building practices.

The team of managers at Native Sons has accumulated over 75 years of experience in the contruction trades and has performed projects up to $80 million in value and spanning 5 years in duration. These projects cover virtually every type of construction installation there is, from nuclear power plants to shopping malls.

Natvie Sons associates itself with several prominent contractor networks to assist it in performing projects outside of the Middle-Atlantic states and has the capability to perfrom work in all 50 states as well as Canada.
